With a mission to preserve artisanal skill, and create a livelihood opportunity for the women in Haryana, INTACH initiated the making of this doll with the women artisans who meticulously created our Kovid Kumari too, using the technique of crochet. This doll from Haryana hopes to educate and remind everyone, including the makers about the various precautions they must take during covid times to stay happy and healthy.
Karuna from Haryana is vigilant, hardworking and joyous.
She is often brought together with her Kovid Kumari to double the cheer.
